3rd Tennis Tournament for the TVP President' Cup
from 19th to 20th September
It is the third time Pekao Open is accompanied by duels of guests invited by the TVP President. Last year the tournament ladder grew up to 25 competitors. Among the players one could spot well known reporters and TV presenters such as: Maciej Orłoś, Maciej Dowbor, Tomasz Ziółkowski and Jacek Jońca, Polish Radio President Andrzej Siezieniewski, the head of Polish Olimpic Mission in Athens - Ryszard Stadniuk. There were also actors, film directors and people connected directly with Polish Television.
Izydor Gaiński missed to defend the 2002 championship title. In the final Cezary Goławski (of Polkomtel) fought against a famous actor's son Robert Stockinger. Robert Stockinger beat his opponent after a really fierce and splendid duel. This year's contest is surely going to be even more impressive.
